Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for providing services, which can improve use efficiency for an SIP server and simply structure an application server if the application server provides services to client terminals. SOLUTION: When receiving a service request from a client terminal 100, the application server 101 requests registration of the client terminal 100 to the SIP server 102 using standard SIP procedures, and then determines whether or not to provide services to the client terminal 100 based on the registration request result.
