Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intuitively evaluate the temporal efficiency of a pointing device from the point of view of a user who uses this system where the pointing device is used as an input device. SOLUTION: A graphic 50 constituted of at least two side segments which are not parallel with each other is displayed on the screen of an image display means. An orbit 52 of a pointer 51 is displayed on the screen based on the pointer 51 having moved on the screen according to input data from the pointing device, and the temporal efficiency of the pointing device is evaluated based on whether or not the pointer 51 has moved along each side of the graphic 50 as an index.
