IMAGE PROCESSOR AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method for extracting a featured value whose noise is reduced, and for correctly discriminating a photographic object included in a photographic image from the photographic image. SOLUTION: This image processing server 1 is provided with a probability estimating means 30 for estimating probability that a photographic object is projected in the respective regions of a photographic image divided into the arbitrary number of regions, an expression changing means 31 for changing the expression method of an image in each region based on the estimated probability, a featured value extracting means 13 for extracting featured vectors by using the changed expression method, a featured vector preparing means 32 for preparing the featured vectors of a whole photographic image by combining the extracted featured vectors in the respective regions and means 12 and 15 for performing at least one of the learning or determination of an image on the basis of the featured vectors of the whole photographic image.
