Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a display apparatus which has conventional characteristics, forms a pixel with sufficient precision by improvement of ink absorption and impact area accuracy and prevention of color mixing of pixels and further which reduces reflectivity and is manufactured by an ink jet method and to provide the display apparatus having sufficient display quality. SOLUTION: The color filter for the display apparatus comprises a transparent substrate, a matrix-shaped light shielding layer and an image receiving layer formed on the transparent substrate and a pattern-shaped colored layer formed by the ink jet method on the image receiving layer located between the matrix-shaped light shielding layers.
