Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe contact mechanism by which a front surface plate can be reliably driven by stable probe contact. SOLUTION: An electrophoresis display is to be formed by peeling a peeling film of the front surface plate having at least a substrate, a display material, an adhesive layer and the peeling film and then sticking a rear surface plate having at least a substrate, an electrode or a driving element to the front surface plate. The front surface plate inspecting probe contact mechanism in the electrophoresis display is characterized in that the shape of a tip of a contact probe for applying voltage to a conduction part of the peeling film is formed in a pinholder shape, in inspection of the front surface plate of the display wherein an electric signal for driving the display material is applied and existence of a display defect can be inspected before the rear surface plate is stuck to the front surface plate by using a conductive film as the peeling film of the front surface plate of the display.
