Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate, which has excellent melt moldability and few internal defects such as an air bubble, whose cost is remarkably reduced due to the extension of the service life of its manufacturing equipment, and whose waviness is so small that it is shipped without grinding since it is molded into a plate through an overflow-down-draw method, and to provide a manufacturing method for the glass substrate. SOLUTION: The glass substrate is made of glass, whose strain point is 530-630°C, whose temperature corresponding to 102.5dPa.s is 1,370-1,520°C, and whose viscosity at a liquid-phase temperature is ≥100,000 poise.
