TRIMMING-PRESS DIE FOR OUTER PERIPHERY OF ALUMINUM CASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming-press die at a low cost with which even in the case of changing a casting-plan for an aluminum casting and even in the case of complicating the shape, the necessity of reconstruction and the increase of number of the parts are not brought about. SOLUTION: As the trimming-press die 1 for cutting off a sprue part Wy, an over-flow part Wo, etc., protruded to the outer peripheral part of the aluminum casting W, four supporting props 3 are hung down on an upper base board 2 and one piece of punch-out pressing board 4 is fitted at the lower ends of the supporting props 3. As the punch-out pressing board 4, a punch-out shape part 4k almost corresponding to the outer peripheral shape of the aluminum casting W is arranged so as to be able to cut off by hitting the sprue part Wy, over-flow part Wo, etc., with the peripheral edge part of this punch-out shape part 4k.
