PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk which can meet user's detailed demands with cost and consumption energy suppressed as much as possible. SOLUTION: A desk is provided with a top plate 1, legs (carriers) 2 and a back frame 3 which are unitized so that they can be used in common to plural kinds of desks, the top plate 1 and the legs 2 are mutually connected and the legs 2 and the back frame 3 are mutually connected. Both front/back faces of the back frame 3 can be connected with the legs 2. The top plate 1 can be connected with the legs 2 at selectable front/back positions, e.g., a front position which offers a wiring space in the rear, a middle position whose rear end is flush with the back face of the back frame 3 and a back position whose rear end overhangs from the back frame 3.
