CULTIVATION BED FOR CUCUMBER AND METHOD FOR CULTIVATING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation bed for cultivating cucumber and a method for cultivating the same, sufficiently performing the feeding of nutritious fluid even on using a small amount of the nutritious fluid, also performing the feeding of oxygen to the roots of the plant for capable of growing a robust plants, further easily performing works and maintaining control associated with the cultivation and having a small equipment load. SOLUTION: This cultivating bed is provided by having a gentle slope for allowing nutritious fluid to flow, a water-holding sheet laid on the gentle slope and a water-irrigating tube installed in the upper direction of the gentle slope and allowing the nutritious fluid to flow in an extent of wetting the water-holding sheet. Fine water-irrigating holes for leaking liquid from the tube on the tubular wall of the water-irrigating tube are installed in an optional interval so as to maintain the liquid leak of the remaining nutritious fluid in the water-feeding tube when the tip end side of the tube is treated for stopping water. Therefore, the water-irrigating tube is made to have flexibility capable of shrinking its cross-sectional shape for following the liquid leakage, when the water feeding is stopped.
