ELECTRIFYING MEMBER, AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING ELECTRIFYING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying member which combines electrifying ability with leak resistance performance, and causes no defective image quality even when it is stored in a state where it comes into contact with a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrifying member includes at least base material and an outermost layer provided on the base material and coming into contact with a body to be electrified, and electrifies the body to be electrified by coming into contact with the body to be electrified in a state where voltage is applied, and the electrifying member is characterized in that two kinds of carbon black (carbon black (a) and carbon black (b)) satisfying following specific surface area and pH are at least contained in the outermost layer. The carbon black (a) is set so that the specific surface area is ≤400m2/g and pH is ≤4.0, and the carbon black (b) is set so that the specific surface area is >400m2/g and pH is ≤4.0.
