Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display by which a picture can be clearly viewed even though the quantity of light entering an eye, which does not display a picture, is changed. SOLUTION: The source picture information of a moving picture to be displayed is stored in the memory of a moving picture data holding device 1. The source picture information is transmitted to a picture quality adjusting amount calculation part 2 on a picture to picture basis. The picture quality adjusting amount calculation part 2 receives a signal from an external light measuring part 3 and corrects the luminance of picture data. The picture data whose luminance is corrected is transmitted to a moving picture data reproducing part 4, converted into the picture data and displayed on the picture display device 5 of a display part.
