Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston ring having flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity, and stably positioned in a ring groove of a piston during operation for a piston of a reciprocating internal combustion engine, particularly, a two-cycle large diesel engine. SOLUTION: The piston ring has an inside radius, an outside radius, a height H measured in an axial direction, and a width B equivalent to a difference between the outside radius and the inside radius.
