SOLUTION: The method for attracting insect pests attracts the insect pests to a preparation for insect pests, a carrier or areas around them, by directly or indirectly adding liquid to the preparation for insect pests or to the carrier capable of holding the liquid and creating a non-dry condition in the preparation for insect pests, the carrier or the areas around them.
