DATA PROCESSOR AND PATTERN FORMATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an embroidery pattern and a printing pattern to be formed in a preliminarily set predetermined positional relation onto a working cloth by forming reference marks to the working cloth in the case where the embroidery pattern is formed by an embroidery machine after the printing pattern is formed by a printer to the working cloth in a data processor and a pattern formation method, and in the case where the printing pattern is formed by the printer after the embroidery pattern is formed by the embroidery machine to the working cloth, and to enhance the quality of the composite patterns. SOLUTION: The data processor 2 is equipped with an embroidery data read means 70 which reads embroidery data, and a reference mark printing data forming means 73 which forms reference mark printing data for printing to the working cloth the reference marks that show two reference positions of the working cloth, and for printing the reference marks at positions in an embroidery pattern region of the working cloth where the embroidery pattern is formed on the basis of the embroidery data read by the embroidery data read means 70.
