OPTICAL FIBER DEVICE, OPTICAL MONITOR DEVICE AND OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber device, an optical monitor device and an optical switch device capable of efficiently coupling two multi-mode optical fibers, while increasing the distance between lenses to be interposed more than in the conventional technique. SOLUTION: A first condensing lens 21 and a second condensing lens 22 are arranged so as to be separated from each other by approximately four times as long as the focal distance and allow optical center axes to substantially coincide with each other. A first multi-mode optical fiber 11 is arranged so as to be separated from the first condensing lens 21 further by more than the focal distance and allow the center axis of light emitted from the first multi-mode optical fiber 11 to substantially coincide with the optical center axis of the first condensing lens 21. A second multi-mode optical fiber 12 is arranged so as to be separated from the second condensing lens 22 further by more than the focal distance and allow the center axis of light emitted from the second multi-mode optical fiber 12 to substantially coincide with the optical center axis of the second condensing lens 22.
