HEATING APPARATUS, FIXING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus capable of shortening the rise time required until a heat-generating member reaches a prescribed temperature, and capable of uniformizing the temperature distribution in the heat-generating part as a whole, and to provide a fixing apparatus and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: Regarding the magnetic and conductive heating roller 210, a 1st layer 210a having proper thermal conductivity is layered on a 2nd layer 210b constituted of a hollow cylindrical ferromagnetic metal member. An exciting coil 300, arranged inside the heating roller 210, is constituted of a plurality of coil means 200 having a coil 212 wound around a bobbin-like magnetic core. The coil 212 is wound around the magnetic core 211 so that the directions of the magnetic fields generated from the adjacent coil means among respective coil means 200 are opposite to each other. By making the power supplied to the exciting coil 300, the heat roller 210 generates heat by means of electromagnetic induction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
