Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for the pack clearance of a clutch pack to be adjusted to the proper amount during the manufacturing process, even if there are variations in friction disc thickness and steel disc thickness . SOLUTION: This is an electromagnetic clutch with a pack clearance adjusting mechanism, which includes an output shaft; a pressure plate; and a clutch pack actuated by the pressure plate. The pressure plate and the clutch pack are spline-connected to the output shaft. A clutch housing is spline-connected to the clutch pack to receive the force from the clutch pack when the pressure plate is subjected to the force. The pressure plate defines a pack clearance for the clutch pack, and the pack clearance is adjusted by the pack clearance adjusting mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
