Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift unit for an automatic transmission having smoothed operation and improved service life by relaxing impact load on a nut and a ball screw to reduce the wear of the ball of the ball screw even when a load change occurs on the side of an automatic transmission body. SOLUTION: A shock absorbing damper 51 is laid between the nut 24 threaded and fitted to the ball screw 22 to be rotationally driven by an electric motor 7 and an input rod 34 of a power shift mechanism 25.
