Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide having activity inhibiting action on IL-18 and effective for curing various inflammatory diseases. SOLUTION: The invention provides an IL-18-like peptide capable of controlling and regulating the interaction of IL-18 participating in inflammatory or immune disorder diseases such as atopic dermatitis with the receptor of IL-18, a medicinal composition containing the peptide as an active component, a physiological activity inhibiting agent and a method for producing the IL-18-like peptide including the screening of a phage random peptide library using a human anti-IL-18 antibody. The IL-18-like peptide can control and regulate the interaction of IL-18 supposed to participate in immune disorder diseases such as atopic dermatitis with the receptor of IL-18, is useful as an IL-18 activity inhibiting agent and is expected to be useful for the treatment of various inflammatory diseases.
