DELIVERY SYSTEM AND DELIVERY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery system and a delivery method capable of adequately allocating the delivery orders, and completing the total works in a shortest time even when the daily delivery and the processing capacity of each picking unit are fluctuated. SOLUTION: The delivery system comprises a storage device 1, a conveying device to convey designated products by the unit to a first or second stations 11, 21 from the storage device, first and second picking units for picking the products of the designated quantity among the products by the unit conveyed to each station, and control devices 31, 32 to perform the delivery instruction to the conveying device. The control devices rearrange the delivery orders to be processed within a predetermined period so that the delivery orders more adequate for the processing of the first picking unit are ranked higher, and the delivery orders more adequate for the processing of the second picking unit are ranked lower, and the delivery instruction is given to successively convey the products of the higher-ranked delivery order and the products of the lower-ranked delivery order to the first station and the second station, respectively.
