PORTABLE POWER BUSH CUTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power bush cutter which can change the angular posture of a rotary blade to the axis of an operation pipe without requiring the weight increase and size enlargement of the tip portion of the operation pipe. SOLUTION: This portable power bush cutter 1 in which the rotation output of a power source is transmitted to the rotary blade disposed at the tip of the operation pipe 10 through a transmission shaft 40 is characterized in that the rotary blade-supporting member has an input shaft connected to the tip of the transmission shaft 40, and a rotary blade-attaching shaft cooperated with the input shaft through a bevel gear, and is supported on the operation pipe 10 at its tip to be rotated around a lateral shaft 14 approximately orthogonal to the axis of the operation pipe 10 with prescribed resistance; the transmission shaft 40 is flexible in at least a region ranged from the tip of the operation pipe 10 to the rotary blade-supporting member; and the flexible portion of the transmission shaft 40 is inserted into protection pipes 51A, 51B connected to the tip of the operation pipe 10 or to the rotary blade-supporting member.
