PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector 10 capable of surely holding an FPC 22 while having no possibility of damaging the FPC 22 by a contact 14 when making contact with the FPC 22. SOLUTION: In this connector 10 equipped with a contact 14, a housing 12, a locking member 20, and a rotation member 18, a lock part 80 is provided in the FPC 22, an engagement part 44 to get engaged with the lock part 80 is provided on one end side of the locking member 20, a pressure receiving part 32 pushed by the rotation member 18 is provided on the other end side, a fulcrum part 34 is disposed between the engagement part 44 and the pressure receiving part 32, and a connection part 30 to be connected to a substrate or the like is provided at a location facing the engagement part 44 or the pressure receiving part 32 so as to stretch from the fulcrum part 34. The rotation member 18 pushes the pressure receiving part 32 of the locking member 20 by rotating to get the engagement part 44 engaged with the lock part 80 of the FPC 22, and the FPC 22 is prevented from being pulled from the housing 12.
