Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position a beam splitter with respect to a thin structural optical pickup by which both a DVD and a CD are recordable and reproducible. SOLUTION: The optical pickup 100 is provided with an objective lens 2 for converging a laser beam ejected from a semiconductor laser 9 to an optical disk 34. Return light from the optical disk is received by a photodetector 14. By the beam splitter 13, the laser beam ejected from the semiconductor laser is guided to the optical disk and the return light from the optical disk is guided to the photodetector. The semiconductor laser, the photodetector and the beam splitter are held and mounted in a frame 1. Steps 20, 22 which are right-faced to a part of the reflective surface and the transmitting surface 13a of the beam splitter mounted in the frame from the side face of the frame are formed on outer peripheral and interior sections of the frame. A through-hole 23 is formed in the frame so that a wind 33 entered from the step 20 is made to flow out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
