Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light condensing member improved in the efficiency to use light by increasing the brightness within a predetermined viewing angle and suppressing the large brightness drop in the areas outside the viewing angle. SOLUTION: The light condensing member has fine light transmissive hemispherical projections 11 regularly arranged on a light transmissive support 10 and the contact angle θ of the projection and the support is 10° or larger or preferably 70° or larger. Further, in the condensing member having the fine light transmissive hemispherical projections regularly arranged on the light transmissive support, the projections are formed in a manner that their refractive indexes become gradually smaller from the inside to the outside.
