RADIATION IMAGE CONVERSION PANEL AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel free from characteristic deterioration of an obtained radiation image by suppressing corrosion on a substrate by reaction of a stimulable phosphor and the metal substrate through moisture over a long period, and also to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: This radiation image conversion panel has: the substrate formed of a metal or an alloy; an oxide layer formed on the substrate by a vapor phase deposition method such as a sputtering method, an ion plating method or an ion beam assist evaporation method; and a phosphor layer formed on the oxide layer by a vapor phase deposition method.
