CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR OUTSIDE INSULATION OF EXISTING WOODEN BUILDING, AND METAL FITTING FOR USE IN IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method which enables an outside insulation structure to be firmly and easily constructed on the outside of an existing wooden building, and to provide a metal fitting for use in the construction method. SOLUTION: A groove bottom 4b of a grooved fitting 4 is arranged in parallel in alignment with a column 1 on the inside of an exterior wall material 3 from the outside of the exterior wall material 3, and a section between the groove bottom 4b and the column 1 is fixed by means of a nail 6 in the state of passing through the wall material 3. After that, an outer stud 7 is fitted to the grooved fitting 4, and the outer stud 7 and the grooved fitting 4 are fixed by means of a nail 8. Subsequently, a heat insulating material 9 is arranged between the outer studs 7; a new exterior wall material 13 is arranged on the outside of the outer studs 7; and a ventilation layer 14 is formed between the heat insulating material 9 and the wall material 13.
