LIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR PLANT APPRECIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a period of time for appreciation without withering petals and leaves by easily and inexpensively preventing drying of a plant by irradiating artificial light suitable to the plant in order to extend the period of time for appreciation of the decorative plant in a room in lighting equipment for plant appreciation. SOLUTION: The lighting equipment for plant appreciation is equipped with a light source 4 for irradiating the decorative plant 1 in a spaciously open system and a spraying mouth 6 for scattering water droplets or steam around the plant, can keep the surrounding environment including a medium of the plant 1 in high humidity and prevent them from drying. Therefore, the state of surfaces of pedals and leaves can be maintained in a fresh state for a long time even for plants for which humidity control has been difficult and the period of time for appreciation of the plant can be extended in addition to light synthesis-promoting effect by light irradiation from the light source.
