VEHICLE DETECTION DEVICE BY MAGNETIC SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle detection device for determining whether the simultaneous zero outputs of a plurality of magnetic sensors is due to the absence of a vehicle or the presence of a vehicle. SOLUTION: When it is detected that the outputs of a plurality of magnetic sensors whose magnetic detection characteristics are different or a plurality of magnetic sensors arranged so that the magnetic detection characteristics can be made different are simultaneously approaching an output value when any vehicle does not present from the outputs of the plurality of magnetic sensors, the inclination of the change of the outputs of the magnetic sensors is calculated with a predetermined time interval, and whether or not the inclination continues in a predetermined time or more as a predetermined value or less is discriminated by a computer determination unit as a criterion.
