Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger manufacturing method, by which the probability of occurrence of integration error of fins can be reduced, and to provide a heat exchanger manufacturing system. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger manufacturing method is for manufacturing a heat exchanger which is formed by penetrating heat transfer pipes through the plurality of plate fins in a plate thickness direction. The manufacturing method comprises a slit forming step and an inserting step. In the slit forming step, slits are formed in the plurality of two-row plate fins which each have formed therein two hole groups including an intake-side hole group for penetrating an integrated guide pin group in a plate thickness direction, and a blowout-side hole group for penetrating the integrated guide pin group in the plate thickness direction. The slits are formed at an intermediate location between the intake-side fin and the blowout-side fin in a longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals. In the inserting step, while the intake-side fins and the blowout-side fins of the respective slitted two-row plate fins are combined with each other in one body, the integrated guide pin group is inserted into the mutually combined intake-side hole group, and the integrated guide pin group is inserted into the mutually-combined blowout-side hole group.
