PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper reception processing in accordance with a signal to be received after reception of originator information signal in a communication terminal device corresponding to originator information notification service. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a main control unit 1, line control unit 2, incoming call detecting unit 7, data decoding unit 8, call tone outputting unit 12, and display unit 14. The unit 7 detects an incoming call signal (call signal, information reception terminal activating signal etc.) received by the unit 2 from a telephone line, and transmits it to the unit 1. The unit 8 decodes originator information from a modem signal received by the unit 2, and transmits it to the unit 1. The unit 1 identifies the incoming call signal detected by the unit 7 after completing reception of the originator information. If the incoming call signal is a call signal, the unit 1 causes a call tone outputting unit 13 to output a call tone and causes a display unit 14 to display the originator information.
