Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter electrode for manufacturing a highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cell capable of forming a wide reaction area and capable of effectively reducing interface electron transfer resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This dye-sensitized solar cell comprises a photoelectrode containing light-sensitive dye molecules, the counter electrode facing the photoelectrode, and an electrolytic solution interposed between the photoelectrode and the counter electrode. The counter electrode has an electron transfer layer with a structure wherein one or two or more conductive materials selected from a group comprising a conductive polymer, platinum nanoparticles, a carbon compound, inorganic oxide particles and a conductive polymer blend are sequentially laminated. The counter electrode for the dye-sensitized solar cell and its manufacturing method are provided. In the counter electrode for the dye-sensitized solar cell, the electron transfer layer promotes smooth electron transfer in the electrolyte containing an oxidation-reduction ion pair and the counter electrode interface to greatly improve the energy conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell.
