Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-shaped superconductive wire including a Bi-based oxide superconductor having high relative density and excellent in electric characteristics. SOLUTION: This tape-shaped superconductive wire is composed by covering the Bi-based oxide superconductor with a metallic sheath. The relative density of the superconductor is not less than 95%, when a current is carried to it without applying an external magnetic field in a refrigerant, a characteristic of current density J and an electric field E in a current region close to a critical current becomes E∝Jn; and an n-value in the formula is 20 or more. The larger the n-value of the wire becomes, the smaller the generated voltage in a low-current region below Ic becomes, whereby heat generation is reduced. Thereby, the refrigeration capability of a refrigeration apparatus for the tape-shaped superconductive wire can be lowered, and a further efficient superconductive apparatus can be constructed.
