Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streamer apparatus capable of selectively accepting loading of an existing tape cassette and a new model tape cassette while ensuring the downward compatibility. SOLUTION: The streamer apparatus is provided with a rotary drum device 31 whose diameter is larger than ever, and a winding angle α1 of a magnetic tape 24, whose width is wider than that of a conventional magnetic tape 14, of the new model tape cassette onto the rotary drum device 31 is selected larger than a winding angle α1 of the conventional magnetic tape 14 onto the rotary drum device 31.
