INFORMATION PROCESSOR, STORAGE APPARATUS, AND FILE TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and file transfer method capable of transferring files among the information processors without much trouble. SOLUTION: When fitting of an external memory 20 is detected, the information processor 10 decides whether it is in a read mode capable of reading a file out of the information processor 10 and writing it to the external memory 20 or it is in a write mode capable of reading the file out of the external memory 20 and writing it to the information processor 10. When the external memory 20 is decided to be in the read mode, the file is read out of the information processor 10 and written to the external memory 20. Next, by changing a mode of the external memory 20 by the user's operation to fit the external memory 20 to an information processor 30, after deciding the mode, the information processor 30 performs fetching processing of a file out of the external memory 20.
