CHARACTER READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct characters read from a form without any sense of incompatibility on a correction screen. SOLUTION: This character reader is provided with a database 6 for storing text data 62 read from a form where characters have been written in a character entry column, an input form parameter 31 for designating the character entry column and external shape of the form and a form 34 and a correction processing part 8 for generating a screen configuration parameter 32 configuring an input field(character correction input column 33) which is the same as that of the form from the input document parameter 31 of the database 6 and the designated value of the screen size, for selecting a font matched with a character correction input column 33, for inserting text data 62 into the character correction input column 33, and for displaying a correction screen 35 where a form 34 of the database 6 is used as the background of the character correction input column 33.
