Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump having stabilized discharge characteristic, by eliminating difference between the discharge characteristics on the right and left sides in normal and reverse rotations. SOLUTION: The oil pump has: a first axial hole formed at a position corresponding to a meshed portion of the minimum pump capacity out of a plurality of pump chambers; a second axial hole formed in a cam ring at a position corresponding to a closed portion of the maximum pump capacity out of the plurality of pump chambers; a first locating pin inserted into a first housing, a second housing and the first axial hole; and a second locating pin inserted into the first housing, the second housing and the second axial hole. A suction port and a discharge port are switched by normal/reverse rotation of the driving shaft.
