Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag for civil engineering, which is formed by closing both edges of a cylindrical cloth together and injecting a filler in the cylindrical cloth, wherein the bag is improved in pressure resistance at a joint portion of the bag edges at the time of injection of the filler. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the bag for civil engineering, a half of the cylindrical cloth 1 with the open edges 3 is folded inward in a longitudinal direction to form a double cylinder structure, and both the edges 3 superposed on each other are connected and stitched together to form a first joint portion 24. Thus an annular space 28 is defined by an inward folded portion 26 and an external surface portion 27 by connecting both the edges 3 at the first joint portion 24, and the filler is injected in the annular space. Further a second joint portion 25 is formed by closing a plurality of pairs of marginal sections 29 which each consist of both the edges 3 connected by the first joint portion 24, such that three or more pleats 30 are made.
