Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control generation of impurity gas during heat treatment, which is a problem of a polyphenylene sulfide having excellent capacitor properties such as heat resistance, dielectric characteristics, etc., to improve dielectric strength of a capacitor using the film and to improve the yield of capacitor production. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyphenylene sulfide film contains 0.01-3 wt.% of fine particle that has 0.1-3 μm average particle diameter, ≥100 m2/g specific surface area and pH ≥9.5 in a water suspension.
