Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous acrylic-modified urethane resin having excellent film-forming properties, heat resistance, anti-blocking, weather resistance and solvent resistance, etc., without using an organic solvent and useful as a coating or ink. SOLUTION: The aqueous acrylic-modified urethane resin is obtained as follows. (a) A polyfunctional polyol, (b) a compound forming an ionic group as a diol component and (c) an acrylic monomer having at least one or more functional groups reactive with isocyanate groups are reacted with (e) a diisocyanate in (d) an acrylic monomer unreactive with the isocyanate groups to produce a polyfunctional urethane prepolymer having isocyanate group terminals and a prepolymer of the polyfunctional urethane acrylate having double bonds as the terminals. The prepolymers are dispersed in water and the urethane prepolymer of the terminal isocyanate is then polymerized with (f) a chain extender.
