SHIFT OPERATION DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quick operation of a shift lever making this as a one-action straight operation type of only forward/rearward operation although two actions are required for the operation to ensure safety conventionally in shift operation of an automatic transmission device. SOLUTION: Shift operation is performed only by forward/rearward operation of a shift lever and a lock mechanism 9 for controlling P lock for restricting the operation from P range to another range, N-R lock for restricting the operation from N range to R range, and R-P lock for restricting the operation from R range to P range by ON/OFF operation of one solenoid device is provided. Energization to the solenoid device is controlled by respective switch signal of an ignition switch, P switch 7 for detecting shift of P range, R switch 8 for detecting shift of R range, a brake pedal switch for detecting step-in of the brake pedal and a vehicle speed switch for detecting that a vehicle speed is a predetermined value or lower.
