Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the enhancement of durability and the keeping and ensuring of positioning precision, to achieve the shortening of a molding cycle time and the enhancement of production efficiency and mass production and to enhance safety and reliability. SOLUTION: This moving part stopping apparatus of an injection molding machine is equipped with a drive part 3 for moving a moving part 2 by feedback control, a stopper mechanism part 4 for mechanically locking the moving part 2 to stop the same and a control part 5 for moving the moving part 2 to a target position Xs immediately before locking the moving part 2 with the stopper mechanism part 4 at a predetermined standard speed Vn, moving the moving part 2 at an impinging speed Vs not higher than the standard speed Vn when the moving part 2 reaches the target position Xs, monitoring the deviation De of feedback control and performing the stop control of the moving part 2 when the deviation De reaches a preset threshold value Ds.
