SPEECH SYNTHESIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech synthesizer capable of sectioning a case of using a user dictionary and a case of not using it even when the user dictionary provided with speech synthesizing functions are set to specifically read out a specific phrase, and capable of reading it out in optimal speech to each function provided on the speech synthesizer. SOLUTION: The speech synthesizer includes the user dictionary for reading out the specific phrase associated with specific reading, two or more speech synthesizing functions provided with two or more speech read-out functions, and a control means for selecting whether or not making one speech synthesizing function reflect the above user dictionary when calling the speech synthesizing function from among the above two or more speech synthesizing functions and reading out the phrase in speech.
