MEDIUM TRANSFERRING DEVICE AND RECORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium transferring device which can precisely transfer a medium, and to provide a recorder equipped with the medium transferring device. SOLUTION: A bending part 52 for bending the medium is set at a medium transfer face 51. A plurality of ribs 53 and 54 are set at transfer upstream and downstream sides via the bending part, respectively. An arrangement pitch of the ribs at the transfer upstream side and an arrangement pitch of the ribs at the transfer downstream side are made to be mutually opposite phases. The medium can be folded at the bending part. Therefore, the propagation of cockling from the transfer lower stream side than the bending part to the transfer upper stream side than the bending part can be blocked. At the same time, cockling generated at the medium of the transfer upper stream side than the bending part, and cockling of a phase opposite to a phase of the cockling which grows at the transfer lower stream side than the bending part can be absorbed between the ribs, so that floating of the medium can be prevented.
