PORTABLE TOILET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet which is advantageous to uniformly receive the load of a toilet seat section on which a user sits, is advantageous to improve the durability of a load receiving member, and also, is advantageous to suppress the scattering of sewage even when the sewage is stored in a fecal matter container. SOLUTION: This portable toilet is equipped with the load receiving member 7 which receives the load of the toilet seat section 1 on which the user sits. The load receiving member 7 has a mounting surface 73 which is extended from the front end section 1f to the rear end section 1r of the toilet seat section 1, and at the same time, on which a flange section 52 of the fecal matter container 5 is mounted. By sliding the load receiving member 7 on which the flange section 52 of the fecal matter container 5 is mounted to the front side of a base body 4, a first operation for avoiding the interference between private part washing sections 20 and 21 and the fecal matter containers 3 and 5, and a second operation for lifting the fecal matter container 3 from the load receiving member 7 are performed while 1/3 or more of the length dimension in the longitudinal direction of the load receiving member 7 is stored in the base body 4.
