METHOD FOR MONITORING RADIO NETWORK PERFORMANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system monitor and a fault detection to detect an effective and economic sleeping cell. SOLUTION: A radio communication system (20) includes a monitor module (34) to detect at least one type of fault scenarios of the system. As a disclosed example, the sleeping cells (24 to 30) are detected by deciding a deviation between an actual cell performance and an expected cell performance. The disclosed example includes deciding the expected cell performance automatically and deciding the deviation between the actual cell performance and the the expected cell performance automatically.
