CASE STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax installation restriction conditions for electronic equipment unit and to perform effective cooling using a cooling fan by making an air blowing direction of a fan unit upward even if a mounting attitude of the electronic equipment unit is changed. SOLUTION: In the case structure for the electronic equipment in which a fan unit 2 can be mounted in a case by insertion and ejection, the fan unit can be mounted in the case while being vertically inverted, a fan side connector 13 is provided on the center of the back of the fan unit, and a receiving side connector capable of being fitted with the fan side connector is provided in the case. Contacts of the fan side connector are provided on both sides with respect to the dot-symmetry center of the fan side connector, contacts of the receiving side connector are provided on both sides with respect to the dot-symmetry center of the receiving side connector, the fan side connector is fitted in both upper and lower attitudes so as to be connected electrically, and the fan unit is mounted so as convert air sucking and discharging directions due to the fan unit.
