Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-generating device that is improved in luminance, luminance uniformity, and color reproducibility, and a backlight assembly that has this, and a display device that has the backlight assembly. SOLUTION: The optical generator includes a drive board and at least one point light source group array formed on the driving board, the point light source group array includes at least one point light source which generates light by the power impressed through the drive board, and the point light source group arrays are arranged mutually separated from each other. Thus, the luminance, luminance uniformity, and color reproducibility of the backlight and display device are further improved, and the display quality of the images generated by the display device is further improved.
