Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner which has excellent moisture resistance, whose charging characteristics can extremely easily be controlled, and which has excellent polishing performance on a photoreceptor, and gives little image defect. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner contains toner particles comprising at least magnetic powder and a binder resin, and an external additive, wherein the external additive contains components of (A) hydrophobic silica, (B) low resistance conductive polishing particles having less than 500 Ω cm specific resistance, and (C) high resistance conductive polishing particles having 500 Ω cm or higher specific resistance.
