Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate a non-contact electronic tag with a glass substrate 2 which constitutes a display panel 1 at low cost. SOLUTION: In the display panel 1, a liquid crystal display section 4 is formed on the glass substrate 2. Moreover, on the glass substrate 2, in addition to the liquid crystal display section 4, the non-contact tag composed of an IC circuit 8 and an antenna 6 is directly formed by a semiconductor manufacturing technology. Consequently, the manufacturing cost is reduced, as it is not necessary to attach a manufactured non-contact tag separately to the liquid crystal display device having the display panel 1. The antenna 6 is formed in a circumference of the liquid crystal display section 4. As a size of antenna 6 is about the circumference of the liquid display section 4 and sensitivity to a wireless signal becomes large, information stored in the IC circuit 8 can be read without bringing a reader/writer close to the liquid crystal display section 4.
