AUXILIARY THREE-LEG STRUCTURE FOR ONE-LEG CYLINDER BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary three-leg structure for a one-leg cylinder body, simply switchable between the normal condition of using one leg and the condition of using one leg expanded by an auxiliary three-leg function with the sliding movement of an outer cylinder, depending on a photographed object or the status of use. SOLUTION: Supporting legs 6 are each formed with a supporting piece 6a having three circular cross sections formed by dividing a hollow pipe in three in the longitudinal direction and a tip portion 6b provided at the lower part thereof. Each of the supporting legs 6 is pivotally supported at its base end on a columnar leg supporting part 7 to form a three-leg mechanism 5. The three-leg mechanism 5 is internally mounted at one end of a hollow cylinder body 2 having an inner cylinder 2a and an outer cylinder 2b externally fitted thereto. Thus, the auxiliary three-leg structure is switchable between a holding attitude in which the supporting piece 6a of each of the supporting legs 6 is held in the hollow cylinder body 2 in linkage with the sliding movement of the outer cylinder 2b and a leg opening attitude in which each of the supporting legs 6 is protruded outward form one end of the hollow cylinder body 2 and opened.
